VINTAGE VIRGINIA METALCRAFTERS CAST IRON FIREPLACE FIREBACK

Description

This is a vintage cast iron fireplace fireback  by Virginia Metalcrafters.   The fire back is signed with the company logo on back.  It measures 23.75 inches in height and 21 5/8 inches wide.  It weighs approx. 54 lbs.   Virginia Metalcrafters is a well known company who hand made items in the USA which were copies of original period American made items.  I have not owned one of these before while there is no damage i assume there might be wear use from actually being used in a fireplace, because the scene on front does not have that crisp image that i would think it should have, but that may be the way they are made.   Unfortunately due to the size and weight of the box shipping will be 0 in the continental United States, please email for rates if you are outside this area.
