Vintage Solar CBC Capacitor Bridge/Leakage Tester. Good Condition. Tested.

Description

This unit is fully functional and is in good condition.
Only flaw is a crack in the top of the wooden case, as seen in the last picture.
All the internals have been tested and passed or replaced.
It is quite small measuring only 10" x 7" x 6" when closed.
The wooden box aside from the crack, and metal hardware are all in good condition.
as well as the leather handle still being pliable and soft.
Eye tube is very bright and responsive.
Has been given a new line cord.
Set of leads are not included.
It will measure capacitance and resistance  as well as testing for electrical leakage.
A leaky capacitor will cause the neon bulb to flash or stay lit continually, while a good capacitor will have it only light briefly as it charges.
Pictured is me measuring a 22uf elna cap for capacitance and then leakage.
Followed by me testing a known leaky capacitor.
I believe this unit will also measure inductance, as it has an H scale.
The voltages used for leakage are 600v for the 5 setting and then down to 110v on the 1 setting.
The bridge circuit is also working and will measure resistance and capacitance by balancing the eye tube.
