    was a legend and was a
    trapper
    who lived in St. Lawrence County close to the
    Adirondack
    Mountains in New York State. During his life,
    E.J.
    was widely recognized as the foremost
    trapping
    expert. . .
    He was the owner of E.J. Daily Trapper' Supplies
    – a hugely successful mail order business which he sold custom trapping supplies to customers worldwide.
    I could not find out exactly when he started his mail order business, but I would think this catalogs is one of his earliest ones . . .
