Magnificent Antique Brass & Enamel Pair Andirons Bookends French Empire Urns Louis XVI Type. Each measures 15 1/2" high, 11 1/4" long and 3 3/4" wide. Not magnetic so not cast iron, made of cast brass or bronze. Lots of wonderful detail. They are missing the billet bar wood holder parts as they had been removed and these were used more as a display in the front of the hearth fireplace, very easy to replace the plain iron bars. Both are otherwise if excellent condition with no damage - see my 12 detailed photos. We acquired these from a local estate filled with the best antiques and fine art we have seen all year. These are the highest quality and have plenty of vintage age.
