    Description

    Hi!  You are bidding on a Keptel Telephone Network Interface Box, Model INI 1900.  It appears to be of 1970s vintage.  The box is designed to check two lines.  I just removed it recently, as our neighborhood was having all copper wiring replaced with fiber optic cable, and the local telephone company said that they wouldn't service copper wiring any more.   The box has worked fine for the last 40 years or so.  I used it to test my telephone lines whenever there was static or other noise on the line.  I was always able to determine that the problem was ahead of the D mark, which angered the telephone company no end.    I hated those bastards, and still do.
