    Vehicle Details
First off … definitely not something I wanted to have to do, but she’s gotta go! Recently had some unexpected medical expenses come up that need to get paid, so unfortunately it’s that time. Looking for best offer!
Anyway runs and drives great! The truck just came back from the shop … I thought That there might have been a transmission solenoid issue, but all of that ended up checking out just fine… The problem was that it needed a throttlebody flush/clean as well as two new spark plug wires, which had bad connections. He said it wasn’t a transmission problem, it instead was the rough idle and was creating a false feeling as though there was a transmission shudder. In addition to these two fixes, he also re-balanced all 4 tires.
Interior, underbody, and exterior body are in awesome shape considering it’s age. Just had front brake pads put on last week in order to pass inspection. PA inspected thru 8/23.
As the story goes, a previous owner messed up their registration/title renewal about 20 years ago, and accidentally checked the box stating that the manufacturer’s maximum mileage had been rolled over, and so it’s been messed up ever since. Title shows 330k miles but one can tell it’s likely more like 130k just based on the interior, body, and underbody.
As can be seen in the pictures, the hood has patina and wear. Also the roof was repainted at some point to help protect it I’d imagine, and the blue that was used looks a bit more greenish blue than the actual body of the truck does.
    The Good:
    New brakes
    Almost new tires
    Inspected thru 8/23
Very straight body with minimal rust
    Brand new center caps
Bed liner with four top rail cleats
    Man-made tonneau cover
    (Cover can be removed)
    Minimal underbody rust
    Cab mounts in good shape
    Leaf springs in good shape
Struts and Coils in good shape
    Interior is in great shape
    Manual sliding rear window
    No check engines lights on
Classic and hard to find two-tone paint
    A real head-turner
    The Bad:
Bottom window rubber seals are old and cracked and could use a replacement.
Washer fluid doesn’t pump out to spray
Inside hood release needs to be pulled while
someone on outside uses exterior release.
Heat / AC don’t work. (Blows ambient air out)
Slightly harder shift into second gear - mechanic said this is typical for the age of the truck but not indicative of any other near term problems.
Tailgate latch is a little sticky and needs help pulling it down to unlatch while pulling the tailgate release.
Small rust spot over rear passenger wheel well.
A couple dry cracks in the dashboard, and was re-adheared using screws.
This would make an excellent candidate for an engine and tranny swap project if desired.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
